About Real Kefalonia
Real Kefalonia is an independent travel guide with one aim: helping you plan your holiday in Kefalonia with accurate, practical information.
What we do
We explain the island's villages and sights, from Argostoli and Fiskardo to Myrtos Beach, the Melissani Cave and the day trip to Ithaca, and compare tours from the main booking platforms so you can choose the right one for your trip.
We are not a tour operator. Bookings are made directly with the platforms, which handle payments, cancellations and customer service.
How we check our information
Ferry timetables, opening seasons and prices in Kefalonia change from year to year. We check them against official sources wherever possible (the Greek National Tourism Organisation, the Municipality of Kefalonia, the airport, ferry operators and the caves' own information), say so when a figure only comes from recent reports, and show the date each practical guide was last reviewed. If you spot something out of date, please tell us on our contact page.
